I decided to become a tutor because I wanted to be able to make a positive difference on the future of children and to stimulate the next generation to become lifelong learners. Being a goal oriented person with lots of patience and experience, my goal is to be able to gel with kids and help them in the required subjects with utmost care and concern for achieving the educational goals. As a highly motivated and experienced tutor with a strong background in providing professional tutoring services to students with diverse backgrounds, I have the ability to exceed your expectations. I am confident that my strong desire to help students achieve their goals will go a long way in providing high-quality services to younger generation.
With more than 10 years experience tutoring Mathematics (Elementary Common Core math, Pre-algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus) and Science (Chemistry Physics, Biology- physiology, anatomy, microbiology), Preparation of Math and Science SAT, and learning disability students. I am adept in high school math, undergraduate math, and graduate level mathematics and biology. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate communication and presentation skills, I excel at multi-tasking many students learning needs individually or in a group setting. In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for tutoring.
I have been working at McNichols Learning Disability and developed excellent knowledge of providing customized tutoring services to students facing learning disability. My ability to work with students in order to find out their weakest points and the aspiration to work towards providing strengthening services has been commended many times. Additionally, I possess a positive attitude and a passion to assist struggling learners. Having the opportunity to tutor math and biology students during my 4 years at UCI and Optometry school, I was able to demonstrate effectiveness in facilitating progress in the general education curriculum. I know how to work with students of all ages.
