Hello! I genuinely enjoy tutoring and teaching students and I believe all students are capable of learning any subject and of improvement. I graduated from California State University Northridge in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies as part of the teacher preparation program. I currently work as an ELD Instructional Assistant for Burbank Unified School District and my whole objective is assisting high school students, grades 9-12, whose second language is English in Language Arts and Algebra. I translate English to Spanish, reiterate and review concepts, and help ensure comprehension as much as possible. I've tutored students in grades K-12 with and without learning disabilities, such as ADD, ADHD, and Dyslexia in language arts, and an individual student from grades 4-10 in all subjects. I have also worked as a Behavioral Therapist and caregiver for children ages 2-12 with Autism and ADHD.
I specialize in tutoring students of all grades/ages in all areas of Language Arts (reading, writing, comprehension, grammar, composition, etc.). I can also tutor students in all grades in History, Science, and Spanish and in any Math subject up until Algebra. I believe that education is at the basis of a prosperous society and that a quality education is the foundation of a student's success later in life. I personalize my lessons to each student's individual needs and I look forward to helping all students achieve their goals.
