I recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in mathematics and a specialization in computing. I also obtained a minor in English. While at UCLA I was a member of the Chess Club and an editor for the student newspaper, the Daily Bruin. I like to encourage a sense of curiosity in my students with the aim of guiding them to their own unique understanding of the subject matter.
I have experience teaching a variety of subjects to a wide range of ages. While a large amount of my tutoring has focused on SAT and ACT prep, I am also comfortable teaching elementary and middle school math, essay writing, grammar skills and more. Regardless of what I'm tutoring, I always make sure to bring a sense of excitement and enthusiasm that my students can't help but respond to.
