Deciding between the SAT and ACT can be one of the biggest decisions you can make in you college application process. We recommend that you take both the PSAT and the pre ACT and decide which one you feel more comfortable with. Because the two are such different tests, it’s not a good idea to try and take both, rather you should focus on the one you’re comfortable with and try to raise your score as much as possible. If you feel that the ACT isn’t for you, and it certainly isn’t for everybody, you might be better served with one of our wonderful Boulder SAT tutors. These tests may seem trivial and you may feel like you can forget all the material after you’ve finished the test, but many students don’t realize that the skills you learn preparing for them are invaluable when it comes to succeeding in college. It’s a very good idea to hold onto these skills after you take the test and through your senior year in order to have the best transition into college as you can.
It’s hard to describe how discouraging it can be when you go through the time to set up a meeting with a tutor, and they either don’t show or know less about the subject than you do! Why should you have to pay to be the teacher in these sessions? We at HeyTutor only work with the best of the best, and because they are so busy, they require commitment. This is why we offer 10, 20 and 30 hour plans for you to use at your discretion, with as many of our incredible Boulder based tutors as you’d like over as long of a period as you want.
Everyone from Eric Bieniemy to Rashaan Salaam had to ace their ACTs to get the opportunity to play at CU despite everything else they had going for them, so it's important to get as good of a score as you can by getting set up with ACT tutors in Boulder. All of our Boulder ACT tutors are only the most active, engaging pros who know what it takes to succeed. We require each tutor to hold at least a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years experience, so you can be sure you’re dealing with someone that knows exactly what they’re doing.
