Something I would highly recommend to any students and other individuals who struggle with energy levels is this: before you reach for energy drinks and coffee, choose water.  Water is absolutely vital to your wellbeing and overall mood for the day.  Without proper hydration, your skin becomes dry and your body functions far below optimal levels. 

The correct intake amount for me is somewhere around a half gallon per day; this sounds like a ton of water but it’s really not.  After making the change, I promise that you will feel more focused and aware during the day.  You could even schedule it as you would say a meal or snack/break.  It will make all the difference.  Thanks for checking out this post.  I wish you all the best!
