ESL/ESOL and Russian tutor

About Nadezhda

Hi, my name is Nadya and I speak 5 languages: English, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish and Russian is my native language. I come from Russia, but over the last 11 years I have lived abroad. I spent 8 years living in China. I graduated from 2 universities in 2 different countries. I hold a bachelor/master degree from Komsomolsk-on-Amur Technical State University, Russia, where my major was LINGUISTICS, INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATIONS. I won government scholarship for Harbin Normal university after that and moved to China in 2011. I hold a masters degree from Harbin Normal university where my major was Drama and Film. Since HeyTutor only provides a list of the US universities, we are told to pick a university with similar ranking and write which university we attend in the description.
I am now enrolled at Glendale community college in Glendale, California. So as most of you, my dear students, I'm also a student now not only a teacher. I live in Southern California now. My passion is travel the world, speak different languages and learn about different cultures and customs. You are welcome to take my classes and hope sharing my experience and knowledge of languages worldwide.
